Noon - 1 PM The Anacortes Arts Festival is a week long celebration with the main street closed to cars, lots and lots of art to see and buy, food, free concerts and more. This is a free lunch Concert at the Port located at the Port Warehouse all the way at the very end of Commerical Avenue at the KPLU stage. "Limited seating makes this an intimate venue - the addition of wine for purchase and the waterfront setting make Concerts at the Port a sell-out Festival favorite." I will be playing with Cellist Matt Rehfeldt, a fantastic multi-instrumentalist, member of Trio Lumina, concert cellist. He is playing a luscious old Italian cello that is a treat for the ears. Cayley Schmid is a young fiddler and bodhran player who has a fantastic style on the Irish tunes. We will be playing a Celtic/Classical fusion, including some fast and furious irish jigs and reels, some music by Mark O'Connor, Bach, and some of my compositions from the Raven Project and the Journey CDs.
